These terms apply to every order you place with us on this website or with our team by phone or email. Please read them before you order. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
1. About us
1.1 This website is operated by Accanto Decor Ltd (Company No. 00000000). Our address is London, SE1 0AA.
1.2 You can contact us by email at hello@accantodecor.co.uk or by phone on +44 (0)20 0000 0000. If we need to contact you, we will use the details you gave us when you ordered.
2. Our products
2.1 The pictures, colours and finishes shown on this website are for illustration. We do our best to show them accurately, but screens differ and natural materials and finishes vary, so the product you receive may look slightly different. Samples are available on request.
2.2 Panels can vary slightly in shade between production batches. Please order all the panels for one wall or area together, and check them before fitting.
2.3 Sizes, thicknesses and weights are the nominal figures supplied by the manufacturer and are subject to normal manufacturing tolerances.
2.4 Advice we give on product choice, quantities or fitting is given in good faith on the information you provide. Please check measurements on site before you order.
3. Placing an order
3.1 When you place an order, you are offering to buy the products. We will email you to acknowledge your order; this does not mean we have accepted it.
3.2 Our acceptance takes place when we confirm the order to you, together with the delivery charge where one applies. A contract between you and us exists from that moment.
3.3 We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if we cannot deliver to your address or if there is an obvious error in the price or description. If we do, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid.
4. Prices and payment
4.1 Prices are shown in pounds sterling. The price you pay is the price shown when you placed your order.
4.2 Delivery is priced for each order. We confirm the delivery charge after you order and before you pay. If you do not wish to proceed at that charge, you may cancel the order and we will refund anything you have paid.
4.3 You can pay by bank transfer or cash on delivery, as described on our Delivery & Payment page. For bank transfers, we will prepare your order once your payment has reached our account.
4.4 If we discover an error in the price of a product you have ordered, we will contact you before accepting your order to ask whether you wish to continue at the correct price.
5. Delivery and collection
5.1 We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom. You can also collect your order from our showroom.
5.2 We will agree a delivery date with you. Unless we agree otherwise, we will deliver within 30 days of accepting your order. If something outside our control delays delivery, we will tell you and do what we can to limit the delay.
5.3 If nobody is available to receive a delivery we have agreed with you, the carrier may charge for a further attempt, and we may pass that cost on to you.
5.4 The products are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to you or collected. You own the products once we have received payment in full.
6. Your right to cancel
6.1 If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, except for goods made or cut to your specifications. Our Returns & Warranty page explains how to cancel and how refunds work.
7. If there is a problem with your products
7.1 If you are a consumer, you have legal rights if a product is faulty or not as described, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Our Returns & Warranty page explains what to do.
7.2 Please check products on delivery and before fitting, and tell us about any transit damage within 48 hours of delivery so that we can resolve it with the carrier. This does not affect your statutory rights.
8. Fitting
8.1 We supply products; we do not fit them. Fitting is carried out by you or by an installer you choose. Please follow any fitting guidance we provide and check that the wall is suitable before you start.
8.2 We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by fitting, or by the use of products other than as intended, except where this is caused by a fault in the products or by our own failure to comply with these terms.
9. Business and trade customers
9.1 If you buy as a business, the right to cancel in clause 6 does not apply. Returns of products that are not faulty are by agreement.
9.2 Trade accounts may be subject to further terms that we agree with you in writing. Where they differ from these terms, the agreed trade terms apply.
9.3 If you buy as a business, our total liability to you for any order is limited to the price of that order, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss.
10. Our responsibility to you
10.1 If you are a consumer and we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
10.2 We supply products for domestic and private use to consumers. If you use them for a business purpose, we have no liability to you for loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
10.3 Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
11. Events outside our control
11.1 We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event affects your order, we will contact you as soon as possible. You may cancel an order affected by a lengthy delay and receive a refund for products you have paid for but not received.
12. Your personal information
12.1 We use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy Policy.
13. Other important terms
13.1 We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation; we will tell you if this happens and it will not affect your rights.
13.2 These terms are between you and us. Nobody else has any rights to enforce them.
13.3 If a court finds part of these terms unlawful, the rest will continue in force.
13.4 If we do not insist straight away that you do something you are required to do under these terms, we can still require you to do it later.
13.5 We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are those shown on this website when you placed it.
14. Law and disputes
14.1 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can also bring proceedings in Scotland; if you live in Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland.
14.2 If you have a complaint, please contact us first at hello@accantodecor.co.uk or on +44 (0)20 0000 0000. We will do our best to resolve it.
