This privacy notice explains how Accanto Decor Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal data when you visit this website, buy from us or contact us. We are the controller of that data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. The personal data we collect
- Order details: your name, billing and delivery addresses, email address, phone number, the products you order and how you choose to pay. We do not take card payments on this website and never receive your card details.
- Account details: if you create an account, your name, email address and password (stored only in encrypted form), your saved addresses and your order history.
- Enquiries: what you send us through our forms (call-back requests, questions, sample requests, showroom bookings, online selections, quote requests and trade account applications), including any files you attach and the page you sent it from.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up.
- Wishlist: the products you save to your wishlist.
- Communications: emails and messages you exchange with us, and notes of phone calls about your order or enquiry.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, which our hosting and security systems record; and, if you accept optional cookies, how you arrived at our website (see our Cookie Policy).

4. Who we share your data with
We share personal data only where it is needed:
- delivery companies and couriers, to deliver your order;
- our website hosting, email and IT service providers, who process data on our behalf under contract;
- our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers;
- HM Revenue & Customs, the police or other authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with other organisations for their own marketing.
5. Transfers outside the UK
Some of our service providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure it is protected by UK adequacy regulations or by appropriate safeguards, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement.
6. How long we keep your data
- Order and accounting records: six years from the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for tax purposes.
- Customer accounts: until you ask us to close your account, subject to the order records above.
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order, and the files attached to them: for up to two years after our last contact.
- Newsletter sign-ups: until you unsubscribe.
7. Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have your data erased; to restrict or object to our use of it; and to receive data you have given us in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us at hello@accantodecor.co.uk. We will reply within one month and do not usually charge a fee.
8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have used your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
